VER-MAC’S SMART ARROW BOARD & WORK ZONE LOCATION SENSOR SYSTEMS WIN AN AWARD FOR NEW INNOVATIVE PRODUCT AT THIS YEAR’S ATSSA TRAFFIC EXPO!

Written by Ricky Stone, Government Relations Manager at Ver-Mac

Our team just finished exhibiting at the ATSSA TRAFFIC EXPO. Again this year, we had several new innovative products on exhibit at our booth!

Ver-Mac is proud to announce that we won the 3rd place for the ATSSA'S NEW INNOVATIVE PRODUCT AWARD. This Innovation Award is given in recognition of new products created by companies that contribute to the industry’s mission of advancing roadway safety and working Toward Zero Deaths. A total of 20 products were nominated.

Ver-Mac submitted their SMART ARROWBOARD that can provide key lane closure information and WORK ZONE LOCATION SENSORS that can provide start and end of every work zone, along with other useful information (GPS location, Roadway Name, Direction of Traffic, etc.)

We received the award from the incoming Chairman for ATSSA at a special presentation on the convention floor. In addition, VP of ITS Todd Foster presented the concept to a group of DOTs (Department of Transportation) and industry leaders at ATSSA, as part of the Circle of Innovation session.

This is another example of Ver-Mac’s continued commitment to innovation that makes our work zones safer.

Until next time, this is Rick saying, “let’s be safe out there”.
