How Does a Connected Arrow Board Work?

Connected arrow boards can communicate information to relevant parties. Thanks to their modem, data is sent to our JamLogic software and flows through the Work Zone Data Exchange. Information can then be sent to DOTs, 511, the Traffic Management Center (TMC), Waze, navigation systems, connected vehicles and via email-SMS alerts. 

If you own a classic arrow board, it is possible to convert it into a connected arrow board using our universal retrofit kit.

Basic Information 

  • Lane closure start location
  • GPS location
  • Mode displayed on arrow board

Advanced Information

  • Road name where deployed (when available)
  • Activity log (where, which mode, on/off, deployed)

  • Position of the arrow board (deployed or in transport mode)
