Description

  • Read work orders, follow production drawings, and routings;
  • Perform soldering duties through-hole and surface mount;
  • Perform online visual inspection and produce products to acceptable production level;
  • Must be familiar with Surface-Mount and Through-hole Technology;
  • Communicate any quality issues to the immediate supervisor;
  • Solder rework and touch-up of PCB assemblies;
  • Product testing.
  • All other duties assigned.

Key skills & requirements

  • Solder through-hole and surface mount experience;
  • Must be able to work full time;
  • Must be able to remove and replace defective components;
  • Basic computer skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to read and write English and follow verbal instructions;
  • Knowledge of the IPC-A-610 standard would be an asset.
