Ver-Mac variable speed limit signs have been installed in Quebec City and Montreal.
A total of 18 signs are installed in Quebec City and 12 signs in Montreal. Depending on multiple factors such as traffic rush hours, weather conditions, work zones, etc. speed displayed on the sign will vary. For example, during rush hour time, speed limit may be 70 km/h (40 mph) and when traffic comes back to normal, speed limit is automatically changed to 90 km/h (55 mph). Speed limit can be changed remotely via our JamLogic software.
