MASSDOT USES VER-MAC'S WORK ZONE PORTABLE SPEED SIGN WITH FLASHING BEACONS
Ver-Mac's Work Zone Portable speed signs visually display drivers' real-time speeds compared to the work zone speed limit. These devices are effective in reducing speeds and increasing awareness of the work zone speed limit. Portable speed signs are most effective when the trailer uses flashing beacons because it attracts the motorists' attention to pay attention to the traffic control device ahead. Our portable speed signs also have the capability to collect traffic count data and speed data throughout the day, which can be used to identify the most dangerous traffic times when more enforcement is needed. Graphs can be exported to Excel via our JamLogic Software.
