Colorado DOT uses Ver-Mac Variable Speed Limit Signs to reduce Work Zone Speeds.

In an effort to reduce speeds on I-25 between Castle Rock and Colorado Springs, the Colorado DOT specified the use of 20 Ver-Mac Variable Speed Limit signs throughout the duration of the multi-year construction project. Our partners, Street Smart Rental: Safer, Smarter Work Zones, deployed and manages these trailers, which are combined with Queue Warning Systems, Travel Time Notifications, CCTV, Trucks Entering Highway Notifications, and more to help motorists safely navigate through the construction.

Here is a great online article talking about that project: https://www.koaa.com/news/covering-colorado/speed-reduced-in-i-25-gap-project-for-safety
